ARDEN RESTORATION IN BEVERLY HILLS
Boston Brick & Stone bid this project but lost the bid to a cheaper price from one of our competitors. After almost a year had elapsed the property owner contacted us to persuade us into taking the project over. The competing company had demolished the two chimneys but had not been able to proceed with the next step. This is the reason we do not have proper before photos of the project. Had we been awarded the contract the two chimneys would have been meticulously diagramed and photographed. Below are the only photos we have of the original chimneys.

What the project looked like when we took it over.

We had to engineer a transition from the lower frame work to the upper steel frame spires.

We had to be sure that future seismic forces would not topple the top half of the chimney.

The steel transition weighed over 200 pounds.

Almost in place.
