GLENDALE BRICK WORK
Earthquake activity is a fact of life in Glendale. The Sierra Madre and Hollywood faults go directly through the city, and the San Andreas fault is less than thirty miles away. It's important to get your home inspected for leaks and cracks as seismic activity is a major contributor to both.
Many chimneys and fireplaces are made with brick, and should be inspected by a trained brick mason like the ones on staff at Boston Brick and Stone. The same can be said for all of the other hardscape features inside or outside your home, whether they are constructed out of brick, concrete or stone. The first step is to locate a reputable home restoration company, with contractors on staff who are qualified to complete all home repair and improvement projects.
One city over in Glendale, Boston Brick and Stone employs a top notch group of contractors who are experienced in inspections, repairs and upgrades to patios, driveways, fireplaces, chimneys and more. They work with all the listed building materials.
THE CITY OF GLENDALE
In 1798, the area now known as the city of Glendale was given to a corporal in the Spanish army as a concession from his Government. It was later settled by American citizens and, in 1884, they chose to name the town Glendale. Though many well-known companies were started there, two of the most universally known are Bob's Big Boy and Baskin Robbins' 31 flavors. It is the third largest city in the L.A. area. With its history and popularity, Glendale citizens are dedicated to keeping their homes safe and presentable. Boston Brick and Stone can guide and assist homeowners through the entire process.
